Eddy and Gillis Re-Elected as Board Chair and Vice-Chair

At the November 5 public board meeting, the Campbell River Board of Education re-elected Trustee Kat Eddy to serve as chairperson for the seven-member board for the upcoming year. Eddy, who has served on the board since 2018, was first elected chairperson in the fall of 2022.

Trustee Craig Gillis was also re-elected to the role of vice-chairperson for the upcoming year. He has served as vice-chair since November 2023. Both Eddy and Gillis were re-elected by acclamation.

The Board of Education chair and vice-chair are elected annually. The next public board meeting will be on Tuesday, November 26.
