New Mental Health Resources for Families

The Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) has created new resources for families supporting children and youth who are neurodivergent and also experiencing mental health challenges.
These resources were developed with the help of parents with lived experience, an Indigenous Elder, and a range of community service providers and experts. The collection includes evidence-based, culturally relevant videos and tools. The goal is to reduce stigma, improve understanding of mental health, and give parents, caregivers, and supporters more knowledge and confidence in helping children and youth with their mental well-being.
An additional set of resources designed for BC educators is also being developed and will be available in September 2025.
